Well, I am now committed to doing this long solo charity ride in October. It's a biggie & I am really looking forward to it. Has anyone here done anything like this? Helpful hints would be appreciated.
TIA

Hey talldon! Just been busy as he11 recently. 60 hour work weeks really drag after a while. Add in my ride to & from work in 110 temps and by the time I get home, one of the last things I want to do is hop on the computer!
It's up to me if I want to get sponsors, so it's up to me how to proceed. I am thinking about finding sponsors to help provide support services and possible bike transport.

VR,Haven't heard from you in awhile, how's it going? What's the total distance of the ride, do you have to come up with sponsors? Also I don't know what the weather's like in your part of the country in October.
